International MA Programme in Communication & Contemporary China
Description of the Program:
The Centre for Discourse and Cultural Studies, Hangzhou Normal University, offers an international MA degree programme inCommunication & Contemporary China (CACC). The programme is designed to offer knowledge and training over present-day Chinese society and culture in the global context from the vantage point of communication. The central objective is to enable globally minded citizens with an undergraduate education in the human or social sciences, from both home and abroad, to become global leaders and/or researchers in relation to China. Located in the Paradise-on-Earth-City of China, Hangzhou, the programme consists in a two-year course-internship-thesis education. The teaching staff is composed of nationally and internationally reputable scholars, outstanding lecturers, as well as international visiting professors. While the working language is English, foreign students are given a basic training in the Chinese language.

Master Thesis in HNU
CACC students should complete a thesis in English (10,000 words) or in Chinese (15,000 words) and successfully defend it.
